Earthquake in Delhi-NCR today LIVE: Epicentre Haryana, people panic

Mild tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR today. Reports say that epicentre of the earthquake was Haryana. People panicked because of the tremors but not losses of lives or property has been reported. The tremors were 4.0 strong on the richter scale. The tremors were felt around 3.37 pm. Haryana is neighbouring state of Delhi and many parts of the former is counted in the National Capital region (NCR). The earthquake in Delhi-NCR comes days after neighbouring Himachal Pradesh were jolted by tremors. On June 17, Himachal Pradesh experienced low intensity earthquake. The earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale was recorded at 3.36 a.m., the meteorological office had said. The epicentre of the quake was Shimla region, bordering Kinnaur district, which shares a border with China, according to IANS. On June 26, an earthquake measuring 3.4 on Richter scale was recorded in parts of Gujarats Kutch district. Data provided by Gandhinagar-based Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) showed that a magnitude 3.4 earthquake was recorded around 6.25 PM. The epicentre was around 16 km south-south west of Rapar in Kutch district. District officials said there was no report of casualties or damage to property. Further inputs awaited
